Apply to wet hair. Allow to air-dry naturally or style with a diffuser. Once dry, scrunch curls to break the cast. Let’s take it further: Apply product from roots to ends using the praying hands or glazing technique. This will help the gel form a layer around your curls, keeping them defined. To remove excess moisture and help create a better cast, before you apply the gelée, you can plop or micro-plop with a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel. Air-dry or follow with a diffuser. For best results, hover diffuse to help the cast form around your curls, then gently diffuse hair. Take care not to break up the clumps or cast as you dry. For added volume, diffuse upside down or side to side. Once hair is completely dry, apply a serum or oil, such as K-PAK Color Therapy Luster Lock Glossing Oil, to break the cast and add shine.
